A museum has developed at Dangmal to attract tourists.

Assigned as a national park on September 16, 1988, Bhitarkanika underpins essential biodiversity, including uncommon white crocodiles, thick mangroves, lord cobra, an assortment of transient winged animals, otter, wild hog, spotted deer, angling felines, and considerably more.
